He came to the US and went to work for the railroad in Eden WI. He lived in Escanaba MI where he died 7 Mar 1906. On his marriage license he listed his parents as Patrick Murray and Katherine Downey. If you have any MURRAYs that might be connected I would love to have more information. I have some about American MURRAYs but almost nothing about the family in Ireland. Thank you for your time. M y great grandfather married Alice Slyman and we have not been able to find the Ireland connection. Their son, Thomas, who was my grandfather was born in Co. Roscommon in 1840.
