I am seeking information on the Carney family in particular Thomas born in 1871. He emmigrated to New York in 1887 and was Naturalized in 1897, he was married to Ellen O'Rourke in New York. He had two children Anne and Jim who were born in New York and then they moved ot IL (Glencoe, Willmette area) where they had 5 more children.

Woul appreciate any help, I know Tom had a sister Wiinfred and other siblings that lived in Boston.

John,
I went looking for Thomas Carney's birth registration
in the Civil Registration index of births for 1871.
I found three Thomas Carneys born that year. I copied
them, and will scan and send them to you attached to
an email tomorrow.

I hope you have some method which will enable you to
pick YOUR Thomas Carney from the three.
