Anyone going from Roosky in Roscommon to Edinburgh in Scotland, would they go via Liverpool? it seems a long way around. Has anyone got any views ?<p>Dot Hicks

I think there was a ship line between Belfast and Greenock at the time and maybe even a Sligo town-Greenock line ? Sligo being the largest West of Ireland habour circa 1850.
