Looking for Larkins of Ballymoe. <p>My g-g-g-grandfather, James Larkin (1803-1893), worked as a herd in Marnellsgrove before moving to Ballygalda in Roscommon (just south of Roscommon town). <p>Other connections include Catherine (d. 1875 aged 65), Dominick (d. 1878 aged 78) and Thomas (d. 1879 aged 79) (Catherine was married to one of these but not sure which). <p>Another James Larkin who was married to Jane Kelly (d. 1808 aged 32) and had children Michael & Thomas. Yet another James Larkin, stonecutter (d. 1728). Michael Lorkin, married to Catherine Spollen (d. 1783 aged 48), son was Dominick. <p>I do not think that everyone lived in Marnellsgrove itself but they certainly were based around Ballymoe, either the Galway or Roscommon side. <br>
