Looking for information on Thomas Maher/ Bridget Kennedy from Tipperary. I have found Baptism records from Thurles Civil Parish of their children. <br>James 7/25/1880- Garravocleheen<br>Mary 11/8/1881- Fishmoyne<br>Catherine(Kate) 12/10/1883 Fishmoyne- immigrated NYC 1904<br>Twins,Patrick&Anastalia 9/1/1888-Quarry St-Patrick immigrated NYC 1906<br>Thomas 5/9/1888- Garravocleheen- - became US Citizen 1912<br>Johanna 5/25/1890- Ballycarrane - immigrated NYC 1910<br>Bridget 8/7/1892 Ballycarrane<br>Joseph 1/15/1900- ( my grandfather) immigrated NYC 1911 with Mother .<br>Died 1924 NYC<br>Any information greatly appreciated.<p>

I had ancestors who were Maher families in Fethard, Mullinahone, and Dunkerrin parrish near Roscrea. I guess Maher is a common name like Brown to Tipperary. Best wishes.<br> Sharon <p>

He was in charge of the St. Marys Famine Church Thurles, Co Tipperary and he knew the records of the area. He was great and he had a web site. http://iol.ie/tipp/faminech.htm or e-mail tipp@iol.ie.
