Has Anyone Consulted Freemasons' Records in Dublin?

I wonder whether anyone has consulted the Freemasons' Records in Dublin? Kyle Betit has suggested them as a source for information about Roscommon people and I understand that some lodges date to the 1700s. <br> Has anyone done research in this record set? How useful were they? What information is available in them? Were they difficult to access? Was it worth doing?<br> Thanks, Mary Lee
