My great grand father Robert William McGinley was born in Carrigallen in 1864. He had a sister called Lucinda who was born in 1866. Their parents were James McGinley and Maria Judge. Robert turned up in Birkenhead in June 1893 when he married my Great grand mother Mary Jane Price. Family tradition has it that he joined the army when he left Carrigallen and served in India. He died in 1936. <br>Can anyone shed light on his family in Carrigallen?<br>
