I am related to the Guckian's of Drumgowla.
My G-Grandmother was Mary Jane Guckian. Her father was Thomas. She married John Geheran and they lived in Lisbrockan, now Drumshanbo. They had a daughter Anne Jane Geheran who married Michael McLoughlin in NYC (1924). They are my paternal grandparents. In the same general area on my mother's side I have my g-g-grandparents a Patrick Conry of Annaduff and Mary Beirne. I have not established what town Mary was from. They were married in 1856 in Annaduff.
I'll see if I can track down the Moran connection.

I have been trying to track this family for years and any thing you can dig up will be most appreciated. The daughter Susan Moran married by gg-grandf. Michael Ryan. The Ryan's were from Strokestown, Roscommon, but I going nuts pinpointing these Moran's/Beirne's. Even made a special trip to Ireland 2 years ago to find Moran/Beirne in Leitrim. Found alot of maybe's, but nothing definent.
