Hi, Does anyone have knowledge of the Duignans listed in Griffiths Valuation of 1857 in Stradermot, a townland forming part of Ballinamore, Leitrim? In Church Lane, Stradermot, there are two members of the Duignan family,Bartholemew at number 2 and Owen at number 26. Owen was married to Cathrine McManus. It is possible that they are related to an Owen Duignan who was a Tailor in Ballinamore at that time. Any help much appreciated KL.
