Finan is among the birth registrations I have<br>on order from Dublin.<br>They have a large backlog and I don't know when I will receive results.<p>I can tell you the following:<p>There were no Finans in Ballyglass East at the time of the <br>Tithe Applotment (1825).<p>By Griffith's Valuation in 1857 Dominick Finan was living there, with a house and 28 acres.<p>Between 1850 and 1866 Dominick Finan and Ellen Dockery of Ballyglass East had at least eight children. The following were in the Tibohine Parish Register:<p>Honoria Finan baptised 22 December, 1850. Sponsors: Patrick and Bridget Dignan<br>John Finan baptised 19 May, 1853. Sponsors: John McDermott and Catherine McDermott.<br>Mary Finan Baptised 08 November, 1855. Sponsors: Bryan and Mary McDermott.<br>Patrick Finan baptised 03 April, 1859. Sponsors: Thomas and Catherine Morgan.<p>Following are presumably twins:<br>Thomas Finan baptised 26 December, 1861. Sponsors: John and Catherine Finan.<br>Margaret Finan baptised 26 December, 1861. Sponsors: Eugene Cryan and Margaret (Unreadeable).<p>Civil Registration began in 1864, and the following children of Dominick Finan and Ellen Dockery were in it:<p>Jane Finan born 10 March, 1864.<br>Michael Finan born 07 May, 1866.<p>Your Patrick J.
