where is SRADUFF located ?

i have a birth cert. i sent to ireland for my grandfather.<br>on it his address listed as sraduff place of birth. does anyone<br>know where this town, parish, or what ever is located? also have a picture of house where he was born. on picture the words clonoghil,taghmaconnell parish are written. trying to find out where this house is and if its still standing. thanks in advance for any help i may receive.<br>please E-MAIL me <wkilroy@mediaone.net><br> bill kilroy<br> (u.s.a.)

Both Sraduff and Cloonoghil are in Taghmaconnell parish in SW Roscommon. Sraduff, from Srath Dubh, means a black wet area, or wetlands in modern parlance.
