Altivra, also called Altavra and Altivara, is listed in the Tithe Aplottment books (1833) as a townland in the Parish of Killargy,
Diocese of Kilmore, County of Leitrim.
The farmers listed in Altivra are:
James Caferty
Pat Carney
John Connor
Bridget Darcy
Pat Doherty
Hugh Flynn
Terrance Flynn
Stephen Flynn
Dan'l Gallagher
Hugh Heaty (sic)
James Keoan (sic)
Bernard Mahon
Pat Mahon
Pat Mahon Jr.
John McLaughlin
John McMorry (sic - possibly McMorrow)
Pat McMorry
Peter McNama (sic)
Peter McSweeney
Hugh Oats
Robert Payne
Thos. Sweeney
Thos. Trotter
These twenty-three farmers seem to have shared the townland in a 'rundale' arrangement. They are all listed as 'occupiers' of
28 acres of arable land, 170 acres of 'moory" land, 164 acres
of mountain and 60 acres of bog. In the 'rundale' system, a
group of small farmers would band together to bid for a lease
on a townland. Their families would build a cluster of
cottages without any shops or services, called a 'clachan'.
Each farmer would be assigned strips of good and bad land
so that each family received an equitable share of each kind
of land.

You can do a search using the townlands you are interested in or check the postings on various genealogy boards and mailing lists, but I don't know of any comprehensive transcriptions of the Tithe Aplottment books. They are on microfilm and can be ordered and viewed at local LDS Family History Centers.
