My great great grandfather, Brian Conroy, emigrated from Roscommon about 1862 and moved to St. Louis. He had a brother named Thomas who moved to California from St. Louis. Brian's wife was named Catherine Kelly. Brian & Catherine later moved to New Orleans where he worked as a surveyor. Brian was killed in a steamboat fire on the Mississippi River in 1869 while traveling home to New Orleans from a trip to St. Louis. Brian and Catherine had a son named Bernard (born Aug 1862)and a daughter Mary Agnes who died in infancy. <p>Any info on Brian Conroy's family would be appreciated.
