Searching for ancesters ofRynn-Wrynn-from Ardvarney

Hello again,<br>I have been searching for my grandma's roots.She was born in ardvarney in 1867.She had one sister Mary Rynn,and a brother JamesRynn.Mary and my grandma left for america in 1885.Would you know where there ship left from?Was it in Cork? James remained in Leitrim.They lived in cherrybrook.Is it near Ardvarney? He was a milesman.What is a milesman?His father,my greatgrandfather was also a milesman.His name was Michl Wrynn.My greatgrandmother's name was Agnes( McCann.)Rynn.James my greatuncle married Bridget Mc Dermott in 1886.They had three children Mary A.Rynn,Bridget Darcy nee Rynn,and Michl Rynn.These children were my fathers cousins and my second cousins once removed .I think that is the way it goes.I have been doing this search for many years.I have traced back to my greatgrandparents(I have their names only) but I wish I knew more info about them and the life that they led.When James married helived in Annah, Glenfarne,I saw a pic of the cottage once.Is it still there? If you have any info or comments,please share with me.Thank you.<br>: Kathleen<br>: e-mail kvz1048@yahoo.com<p>i know a little about that area. ardvarney is in leitrim, you can find out where on this website. my g-grandmother was bridget wrynn from agrina, on the line between roscommon and leitrim. she married tommy noone, my g-grandfather. the spelling is varied for wrynn, rynn, ryan etc. i know where the "farne" cottage is, on the road from keadue to arigna, i do not know if it the same one you are looking for, but as you can see, spelling and history beyond the last generation only seems important to those of us who do not know it. good luck with your search. bill noonan<br>
