Hugh McLaughlin & Ellen Connelly are my gggrandparents. Hugh was born about June 1785 and Ellen abt 1790. On their gravemarker is inscribed : natives of Co. Leitrim Ireland. They had four children born in Ireland : Michael (abt. 1821, my ggrandfather), Winnifred (abt 1825-6), Terrence (1834), John (1827). They emigrated to Québec Canada and had Mark in 1835-6. Any info about Hugh and Ellen would be greatly appreciated.
