I did not find him there,
so I thought I would check a few other years. Since most people who change their age make themselves
older (to be able to drink sooner when young and to get their pension sooner when they are old) I started
backwards in time. I didn't find him in the 1868 records either,
but when I got to 1867 I found a Daniel McGarry
whose birth occurred in Mohill registration district in County Leitrim. I made a copy of the birth registration
and will attach it to an email and send it to you.
Cheers,
Tom Voyles
