abbey Tarman, near Keadew/Drumkeeran

Post by Patrick O'Flaherty »

Was interested in knowing the history of abbey Tarman. Where the name Tarman came from? Was this an English cleric or from somewhere else? My wife's maiden name was Tarman traced back to Maryland circa the American Revolution and eight brothers who came from we-don't-know-where. Thanks for any ideas, suggestions or information.
