I am trying to locate information pertaining to my gg-grandfather and mother who immigrated to the United States from Ireland around 1845. Based on what little I know, I think they may have come from County Roscommon. His name is Michael Clogher. Her maiden name is Catherine Bamon. At this time it is not known if they were married in Ireland. <p>From my best guess, Michael Clogher and Catherine Bamon were born about 1812-1815. <p>After their immigration to the U.S., they lived in New Orleans, Louisiana. Catherine died around 1847, while Michael died around 1885.<p>I would certainly appreciate any assistance someone could provide in helping me locate additional information.
