My Moran connection is near Athlone, in parish Cam & Kiltoom
I'm a decendent on the "Heenan" side.
John Henehan m. Catherine Moran 10 Feb 1840 in Cam & Kiltoom, Roscommon. They had 9 or 10 children.
I'm not sure which Catherine Moran I have yet. She could have been:
1. Christening: 10 JUL 1827 Roman Catholic,Killucan, Roscommon, Ireland
Parents:
Father: EDMUNDI MORAN Family
Mother: ELEONORAE MC CORMACK
2. Christening: 27 AUG 1822 Roman Catholic,Killucan, , Roscommon, Ireland

Parents:
Father: MALECHAEO MORAN Family
Mother: CATHARINA CONRY
3. neither of these!

In this parish there is also:
Joanam Moran
Female
Christening: 24 JAN 1833 Roman Catholic,Killucan, , Roscommon, Ireland
Parents:
Father: Michael Moran Family
Mother: Brigidam Beirn
and
Joanam <Moran>
Female
Christening: 30 SEP 1820 Roman Catholic,Killucan, , Roscommon, Ireland

Parents:
Father: Patritii Moran Family
Mother: Elizae Conlon
That's as far back as these parish records go. While it's the same time period, I don't know if it helps or eliminates, but I have the microfilm numbers if you wanted to look up their christening sponsor names. This far back is usually a dead end given how common this name is.
