Gaffney McFadyen McPadden or Darcy

I am researching two strings of my family that return to Leitrim

Bridget McPadden, b. abt. 1861, d. 1934 Edinburgh, Scotland, married Patrick Gaffney, had 2 daughters: Margaret Gaffney; Ellen Gaffney, b. abt 1885, married Edward Darcy, d. 1963

2 Myles Darcy Ann McFayden or McPadden

It would appear that both these branches of the family ended up in Edinburgh circa 1875. Has any one got any information regarding them or can they advise me how you go abour researching them in Leitrim

I can only tell you about the darcy line

As I remember, . Myles was married in Manorhamilton to Bridgitt McNiff.Myles darcy was the father of Peter Peter was the father of Phillip (B. around 1910, Edinburgh). Phillip married Ann McHugh of Boho, Fermanagh (?), Phillip was the father of John ( B. 1947, Edinburgh) and John is the father of yours truly.

My father has a family tree somewhere, it was given to us by another realation - a Mr Kelly of Penicuick.

Thanks for the reply, I think I have you on the family tree on my pc ? but having difficulty working out the relationships

Phillip (1910) was my Great grandfather's brother Edward

Many darcy descendants alive and well in Edinburgh
