Gawthorne (Gawthorn) families of Ireland

Hello, all.....I am desperately looking for any/all references to the Gawthorne (Gawthorn) families of Ireland. This is a missing link in an otherwise successfully ongoing research of my ancestery.

The particular Gawthorne (Gawthorn) Elizabeth, married an Enlishman by the name of Thomas Bennett...and moved to England, to the best of my knowledge. However, while in Wales, due to employment, they gave birth to a son in 1901...

Any Gawthorne family history would be very much appreciated here....I am truly lost at this point.

Hi Lexmark,

Is there a chance that the surname is Hawthorn/Hawthorne?
That family name is found round the Castlerea, Co. Roscommon area - parish of Kilkeevin. Check out Griffiths Database and 1901 census on this site. Perhaps it's what you might be looking for. Best of luck.
