help with these names please

Hi,i am not sure i am in the right place but no doubt someone will point me in the right direction.I am researching these names i know they are all irish born but have no idea where in ireland they were born.Can someone please help with these names.
Crumlish.Connell or Connelly.Crawford.Cringan or Clingan.Bell.Edgar.Faulds.Grey.Cuthbert or Culbert.Harvey.If anyone can point me in the right direction i will be most gratefull.Anne. :oops:

Hi Anne

The Irish Times web site www.ireland.com has a genealogy section which includes the distribution of surnames throughout Ireland i.e. where particular surnames were most commonly found. It might be worth a look. A lot of the names you mentioned sound more English than Irish, or at least Anglo-Irish. Sorry that I can not be of any more direct help.

My name is Connell and my grandfather, Michael Connell came from Ballinlough, Co Roscommon. I understand there were Connells also from Co Cork. (no relation to me). Sorry can't help with the other names you list.
