Nichol and Doyle in Edenbaun

On the 1901 census, an elderly couple of James Doyle and his wife Helen are shown living in Edenbaun, Cloone, Mohill. With them are step-son Patrick Nichol. I've seen the CRO registry entry for the wedding of this couple in the late 1890s. Helen is shown as Ellen and was a widow. Her late husband was obviously Nichol. Her father is named as Francis Doyle. Just wondering if anyone would know the details of her first marriage? The IGI signpost shows a marriage between John Nichols and Elenor Doyle in 1881. IGI does not have details. Could this be the same lady? And who was Francis, her father?
