Catten and Caten Crop
Does anyone know what this means or whether it is a version or refers to the townland of Catten? Tonight I found a baptismal entry for Feb 1851 for Michael, son of Patrick McCabe and Mary Dillon. Sponsors were Francis McPartlin and Bridget Ward. The notation follows "de Caten Crop". These are all names familiar to me in researching Catten, so any comments?
