O'Donnell Morley

Post by Gerard Wilson »

I am searching for O'Donnell and Morley families from the area known as Boghtaduff outside Ballaghadereen.
Marriages information and births and deaths would also be very useful.
Are there any local graveyards where people would have been intered around the years 1890-1920.
Thank you
Gerry

Hi Gerald

Researching O'Donnells who lived in Bockagh Hill.

My GreatGrand mother Anne O'Donnell married a James Finn from Tawnabeg, Cloontia in Feb 1897. Anne's father was Anthony and her mother was a Mary Gallagher.
Let me know if this rings any bells.

Alot of my Finn ancestors come from around the Cloontia area.

Bye for now. Tracey :D
Thank you

would love to compare notes on the Finns and O'Donnells.

O'Donnells were from Bockagh Hill. My grandmother Anne and her sister margarate and there was a brother Michael. born around 1860/70's.

Finns came from Cloontia (Tawnabeg) and Bockagh Hill.
