my name is linda carter (maiden name o'neill ) and i am trying to trace my great grandads roots. he was born in galway c 1850 his father was patrick o'neil a farmer. that is all the info i have on them in ireland
Patrick oneill (c1850) moved to england and married a margaret carney in farworth , bolton , lancashire in 1872. she to was from galway in ireland.i cannot find patricks father (patrick snr ) so i presume he stayed in ireland but not sure.( not sure when any of them came to england )
the only info i have is the above and that was off their wedding cert. i have them on all the english census up to 1901.
is ther anyway i can find out more on both patrick o'neills
any help would be most gratefully received
