hello jean, its good to hear from you.i have a lot of info on the john gilhooly and georgina neisham brood .i have followed mostly the male lines and do not have a lot on the mccourts and prows.i have spent a lot of time about 6 years trying to find out where patrick and his wife who i believe to be cath mcmanus came from in ireland. cath died 1893 in dumfries as the widow of patrick, and annoyingly it did not mention her parents.i am currently looking at catholic parish records of leitrim and the surrounding areas.they do say its not the destination that matters but the journey. i would like to know how far you have got and if we can exchange information. i have been in contact with one of the decendants of the dumfries neishams who lives in auckland, she has given me loads of info that you are welcome to have, and anything else that interests you. you can if you wish contact me at my email address. look forward to hearing from you, john gilhooly. ps my father is robert gilhooly born 1916 in glasgow.
