Help with 1911 Census - DOYLE - Ballinphuill,Tibohine- Rosc.

Post by tkelly5 »

Hello,

I am trying to find living relatives of James Doyle, Born Jan 18, 1902 in Ballinphuill Townland,Tibohine Parish, Barony of Frenchpark- Roscommon. I have personal papers (birth, passports, pictures, naturalization) that someone would dearly like and I cant imagine throwing them away. He emigrated to Cleveland in 1923, was a Electric Lineman for the Cleveland Illuminating Company, never married, died November 1972. His brother Thomas lived with him in 1930 in Cleveland.

He was born to Luke Doyle and Bridget Sharkey. His family appears on the 1901 Census (thanks all for transcribing that by the way) :

Luke Doyle (46) Father b. abt 1855
Bridget Doyle (40) Mother b. abt 1861
Mary Doyle (12) Sister b. abt . 1889
Bernard Doyle (10) Brother b. abt 1891
Rodger Doyle (8) Brother b. abt. 1893
Michael Doyle (6) Brother b abt. 1895
Thomas Doyle (4) Brother B. abt. 1897
Luke Doyle (1) Brother. b. abt. 1900
<james will be the next in line in 1911>

Was wondering if anyone that has access to the 1911 Census could lookup the family and see if there were any other brothers or sisters after 1901? I am searching Ancestry.com to see if anyone has developed out any other Doyles. I am going to the Cleveland OH public library today to lookup any obituaries from 1972.

Thank you, Tom Kelly
