Hey people, I'm new to this and I'm having a little trouble. If any one can help me with finding anything under Thomas James Dunn or even James Dunn (Leitrim County) that would be great.
Thanks!
Ryan

Hi Ryan,
Welcome to the world of genealogy. Go to:
http://www.leitrim-roscommon.com/1901ce ... nsus.shtml
and you will be able to search through the 1901 census, assuming those folks were in County Leitrim at that time.
There are a number of Dunns/Dunnes etc ( ignore the spellings; they are wildly inconsistent as are birth dates).
In order to get familiar with the filed, just use your search engine and start visiting genealogy sites, Irish history sites etc.
If you have more information, (their relation to you, did they leave Ireland and for where, when it occurred, approximate dates of birth, really anything at all including why you think/know that they are from Co. Leitrim) always include it in your posts.
Good luck.
