The town of Derrylahan, where my grandfather
was born is in the barony of Moycarn. I'm trying to
find out who he would have leased his land from in
the parish of Moore. How would I find out if there
was a baron of Moycarn and if my greatgrandfather,
John Greene, had leased land or was a landowner?
Any help would be appreciated.
Peter Greene

Library. Get the whole parish and post them here on the pages of the estimable Ed Finn, your host.
Subsequent years are also in Roscommon Library under various headings such as the Congested Districts Board, the Land Commission, etc.
