Mcdonagh/McDonough Family

Looking for any of the McDonough/Mcdonagh clan from Leitrim, Kiltubrid. Francis and Ann emigrated to USA pre 1901, with children Alice b. 1887, Thomas 1889, Mary Ann 1891. Also John b1888. John did not emigrate but remained in Ireland. John McDonagh married Mary Teresa Malone and lived in Drumlahard Co Roscommon until his death in 1965. They had 2 daughters Mary Ann and Teresa both are now deceased. I am John's Grand-daughter and am looking for any descendants of Alice or Thomas McDonough/McDonagh.

iam also related to the mcdonaghs. michael mcdonagh married my aunty who was a murphy both familys are from ballaghaderreen roscommon
if i remember right there also tom mcdonagh and maria mcdongh

Hi,

My name is John McDonogh and I live in Chicago, my father Dermot emigrated to Chicago in 1957, his Father James McDonagh was a Garda and he was married to Kathleen Kelly.
In Ireland the name was spelled McDonagh he was the youngest of 14. Any info you have would be appreciated. I will post back my Aunt is in town and she knows all the names, dates and places. Thank You

I have always wondered whether my mother's aunt met her husband at home in Roscommon or later when she emigrated to New York. If you will click on Search and type in MANNION you will find details on Catherine (nee Mannion) McDonough in the long piece that I posted about her. Perhaps someone will spot a connection.
