<p>: : What part of Leitrim was Bernard from? <br>Bernard Flynn, hmmm. <br>I'm not sure, yet! His tombstone says Leitrim, Ireland. Since my last post, I have discovered that the McManus and Bennett's are probably not from Leitrim. He would have "come over" at the age of 1 in around 1821, according to the census of 1900. I believe he met his wife Catherine Bennett in Canada and moved to the US in 1870.
