Do you have any general information about the history (origin) of the Boland family in Ireland? Are you familiar with a Lough Derg and Ballybolan? I would appreciate any information you may have. Thanks.

My Gfather was John, his wife Delia (nickname?) Walch. He was an Irish Immigrant, who settled in upstate NY. They had four children: John (1907), Joseph (?), Catherine (1911), and Marie (?). Said to have eight brothers who came over too!? Seems many Boland's in upper NY state maybe related. Give me an E-Mail. Thanks.

My father-in-law (Francis Peter Boland) was born in New York City 12/1/1929. His father was John Patrick Boland born 1878 in County Claire, Ireland. He was married to Theresa Corr who was born in County Tyrone, Ireland. Anyone know anything about these two Bolands?

: : Do you have any general information about the history (origin) of the Boland family in Ireland?
