I am looking for information regarding my family. My grandfather, James Shanley, immigrated from Roscommon to Boston, MA. in the 1880s. He came over with a Joseph and a Patrick Shanley, relation unknown. I believe my grandfather may have left a brother, Thomas, behind in Ireland who was a police officer. Any information would be helpful.

She married Daniel Banks circa 1879 they had 12 children: Julia (died age 3) ;Annie; Daniel; Mary; Kate; Maggie (my grandmother); Michael; Phillip; James; Jack; Harold; Ted. My grandmother married Alexander Schauf but I know nothing about many of the other children. I don't know ANY of Mary's siblings and I don't know her mother or father. If ANYONE can help I sure would appreciate it. <p>
