Roscommon Peace Preservation Force

Trying to find information on a John Burke possible <br>from the Tuam area in Galway he was a member of the <br>Roscommon peace preservation force joined it in 1831<br>his number was 1088 this force was formed by <br>Robert Peel later called the constabulary force and<br>in approx 1867 given the Title Royal Irish Const.<br>A requirement to join the force was a recomendation <br>by .... John was recommended by an RM named Ireland<br>any person who might be able to point me in the right <br>direction with this search please contact me at <br>anselmb@yt.sympatico.ca
