most of my family left in 1918 or 1920 for Parsons, Kansas and I know we still have some family left in Ireland and I am looking to find them. If anyone has any information please contact me.

Hi Cassandra, While visiting in Ireland in 1996, I went to the Townland of Lisduff in the Civil Parish of Tibohine, and met all my Finn descendants. To find the homestead of my Finns, I drove in to the closest town which was Frenchpark and stopped at the first large building that I came to, which was Regan's Auto repair. I asked for directions to the Finn's home, and Tom Regan (the owner) got in his car and showed us the way directly to the original homestead of my Finns. As it turned out, Tom Regan lived right across the street from my Finns in Lisduff.So there is one Regan that you can put on your list of Regans in Roscommon.Good luck with your research.Ed Finn efinn@thecore.com ICQ# 7780675

(Roger's brother EDWARD married Brigid Johnson's sister.) Roger's children included MARY,MOFFAT(JOHN), BRITAIN, CATHERINE, HENRY, RICHARD, MICHAEL, PATRICK, ROGER, William, ROSE. Do any of these names occur in your tree?

Then, "Clifford" rang a bell. We all must thank Ed Finn for supporting this page. I remember first searching the Web back in early 95 in regard to Irish genealogy. There wasn't much going on at the time. Now, we have all this information about just the Roscommon area. It, to me, indicates what the Internet is going to allow in terms of research. We'll still have the problem of discriminating fact from fiction, though.I passed the note by a cousin (several branches away on one tree) who has researched several Roscommon families and visited Roscommon area several times.In particular, the thread followed by Ellen Willis deals with the Johnston family but with known links to Pargen, Clifford, Currigan (my interest), and more. I include Ellen's address at her request below. I have a Catherine Regan who married a Martin Peyton and so far I know they had a child named Della Theresa Peyton. Does any of this ring any bells. Sure hope so. I'm stumped. Thank You, Gail
