My great grandfather John Rorke born 1799-1804 parents <br>were John Rorke & Catherine Donnelly. John came to<br> Brooklyn, N.Y. 1830.Lived in Brooklyn for 20 years as<br>a masonary. He married Mary Dillon at St Mary's church<br> <br>in Brooklyn. She was from Co Longford. John had three <br>brother that followed him to N.Y. They were Patrick <br>born 1807 and James born 1810. John and Patrick took <br>their familys to Illinois around 1850. James stayed in<br>N.Y. Lost track of James. John became a farmer in Ill<br>raise four children all born in N.Y. John Dillion Rorke,<br>James Francis Rorke, Catherine Rorke ( never married)<br>Thomas Francis Rorke/O'Rourke (my grandfather) he <br>married Bridget McCue/McHugh they had seven children.<br>I am trying to locate the area John and Mary Dillon Rorke<br>came from in Ireland or maybe any relatives.
