Our research indicates that 2 brothers, James and Gabriel Dunlap or Dunlop may have come from Roscommon in 1819 to Canada. One of them was a sadler. Gabriel brought a wife, Catherine Hoban and 5 adult children:Gabriel, William, Sarah,Elizabeth, Catherine. They came with the 99th regiment of Foot. After some time in Richmond Ontario, James moved up to Horton Twsp,, Ont and Gabriel's family moved to Hull, Quebec. Gabriel left adult children in Ireland. Any furthe info on these families or those left behind?
