FEENEY'S AND BUTLER'S

Post by Sharon Collette »

Can anyone give me any information on James Feeney married to Cathrine Butler. From what i've read the Feeney name originates in the Roscommon-Sligo area, James and Cathrine lived in Moville Co Donegal.
James and Cathrine had three children John, william(my grandfather) and Sarah. William was born on may 24th 1906. William and Sarah both lived and died in scotland and as far as i know John stayed in Ireland. James had a brother John who married a Susan Quigley they also lived in Moville Co Donegal.
James and Cathrine separated when the children were quite small because they were brought up by an aunt(name unknown). James is thought to have Come to the States and sent for Cathrine and the children but Cathrine would not come, James is buried in Massachusetts.
If anyone has any information on these people PLEASE let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
