I am beginner and I am impressed with this page. I have some info on my side of the family. My ggrandfather was born in Roscommon. His name was Patrick Fallon, he left and made his way to Boston. He was made a citizen in 1870. Would appreciate talking with anyone who would like to share additional info on the Fallon family. Thank you Paul

He was made a citizen in 1870.
:There is information regarding a Patrick Fallon under the three different Fallon families on the Ballykilcline page (see address below). He is shown as a child with his brother, Thomas and wife, Anne. Let me know if Patrick could be yours.

Their daughter Mary Jane McLaughlin was born in Ballyfeeny in Roscommon in 1868. I have a photo of, allegedly, Catherine Fallon's house. I know that's not much help, but the picture is cool.
Jane
Thank you Paul
Paul: If you will scroll down to my message posted April 12, you will see some information on my Fallon part of the family. My GF, James C. Fallon was born in 1973, immigrated to Boston in 1885. A Patrick Fallon, I presume an older brother, who shared the same address...16 Brook Place in Boston, was witness on his naturalization papers in 1885. There was also a Thomas (another brother?) and Bridget Fallon who were witnesses at his marriage. Their parents's names were John and Bridget (Kenny) Fallon and they came from Knockcroghery, County Roscommon.
Your GGF was a generation earlier than my GF, but could have been the same period as my GGF, John Fallon. Let me know if your roots turn up in the town Knockcroghery (Civil Parish Killinvoy).
