My Grandfather, Arthur "Pat" Dwyer, was born in 1904 in West Virginia. He had several siblings one of whom was named Frank. Their father was Lawrence Dwyer. I am not sure of his birthdate but I could obtain it if this looks promising to you as this all is about the same time franme and location. He lived in Louisiana until the he was around the age of 16. He supposedly ran off in the middle of the night after a fight with his drunken father. The father was Michael Dwyer married to Mary Flynn or Flinn. The came over from Ireland. Lawrence, sometimes spelled Laurence, did not keep in touch with his many siblings, one whom was Margaret or Maggie. He went to West Virginia and was instrumental in organizing unions in the coal mines. He was then nicknamed Peggy due to his leg obtained in a mining accident.
