Would like to communicate with any Kiltyclogher resident. Working on MCGOURTY family history and would like to have a local contact. What is the name of the Catholic church in Kiltyclogher? Is there a cemetary there? Maggie in Idaho, USA, the other potato place.

Hi Margaret. We were in Kiltycloger last summer and it is a lovely place. The church is St. Patrick's. (So pretty) A cemetery behind it. The priest there is retired and from another area. Knows nothing about the town's genealogy. Not helpful. There is a man named Lorcan Rooney who's written a book named "From Roscloger to Rooskey" and will send you a copy if you contact him (He'll tell you the cost in U.S. dollars). Another cemetery is Rossinver (very old) described in book. We traced Dolan relatives there. Mary L. Casey
