I'm trying to determine the location of the village of Shegora in county Roscommon, birthplace of my great-grandfather Patrick Killelea. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

A Martin Killelea witnessed the marriage of my great grandparents, Patrick and Catherine Finneran McCormick. in Bolton, Lancashire Co., England on October 18, 1877. The McCormicks and Finnerans were originally from the Strokestown area of Roscommon.<br>

I've learned from an informed source (another Killelea) that the border is where the name is thought to have originated.
