Anybody out there? <p>I am not even sure of the spelling of the surname but I had a grandmother called Bridget McGourty who came over from Ireland late 1800's married a Joseph Elliott in Sunderland and had a large family only one living at the moment. Some of the family emigrated to Sydney Australia but I only have one aunt who is still alive and her memory is vague. I haven't tried to trace the family before.

Born in Kiltyclogher, County Leitrim, settled in Iowa, USA.
