My grandmother "Alice Feeley" was born October 16, 1889 in Bundorin, Co Leirtrim, Ireland. She had many brothers and sisters. Her sister "Elllen aka Nelly" was born on June 13, 1886. This is the only other name I know. They came to America around 1907, married and never returned. We know of a brother who was alive and living on the farm where they were suposedly born. This was in 1972. He was in his 90's. We are looking for any information we can obtain on this family.
Thank you for any help you can give us.

I don't think I can help you with this Feeley family but there are quite a few Feeley's on the net. My g. grandmother was Mary Jane Feeheley from Drumlish Co. Longford. Don't be put off by the spelling because her surname is spelt differently on each of her certificates. You will find Feeley spelt - Feeheley, Feehely, Feely, Fealy etc, etc. As our ancestors may have been reliant on the registrars to record the name for them, the name may have been changed several times in the same family as is the case for my family. Good luck in your search.

Jack and Walter Venedam married Alice and Ellen (Nellie) Feeley. If your memory is good you may remember visiting with your family at our apartment in the projects in the Bronx. When I saw your message a few months ago I tried to contact you through E-mail but I got a message that yours was not operational. Hope to hear from you. Jack V.
