Does anyone know if the townland of Errit still exists and exactly where it is located? I know that it is or was located in Roscommon Co., Barony:Frenchpark. Roman Catholic Parish:Loughglynn. Civil Parish:Tibohine. Poor Law Union:Castlerea. I am searching for the Morris family who still lived there in the early 1900's. It is said that the family owned a country store and that my grandfather spent time there as a young boy. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
