Irish Geneaology

Please help, I am trying to gain Irish citizenship! I am unable to prove that my grandmother was born in Eire, but she was. Someone must know a quick route for me to gain citizenship into the Republic of Ireland, specifically Kildare or Dublin!

as far as I know you can only claim citizen ship if you
were born in Ireland. What about your mother/father?? If you
contacted the Irish consulate in either Ottawa, or Washington
or any major city you live near they could help. Hope it works out

You need to obtain an
authentic birth certificate and fil out a form whicn you can obtain from the
Irish consulate. The fee i about $150 US.
