Might be a stretch to connect my Grady/Hanley<br>But, my HANLEYs arrived NYC 1850: Peter <br>Hanley and wife Catherine Anderson, and 5<br>children. 4 more children born NYC. Their names were Ellen, Catherine, Nicholas, Michael, Elizabeth, Mary Ann, Lawrence (my gggfather)<br>Theresa and Thomas. <br>My gggfather m. Kate Flood in 1879, they had 9 children: Law. Jr. (my ggfather), Harry, Sarah, Lillian, Isabel, James, William 1., Wm. 2, and Laurette. <br>Laurence Jr. m. Margaret Cody. Margaret was daughter of Pierce Cody and Marg. Shanahan.<br>Margaret Shanahan was the daughter of William Shanahan and Anne GRADY. <br>A long way to go to get the connection, huh?<br>Let me know if this helps. <br> .
