His name was John Joseph Rooney born in 1867, I believe in Roscommon, (Ballylooby). He had a sister,<br>Mary born in 1855 (her death certificate lists Roscommon, (Ballylooby) as birthplace, and a brother James M. (not sure on birthdate, may be 1894). My grandfather came to the U.S. when he was around 18 years old eventually settling in Kansas City Missouri, and working for the railroad. <p>Thank you for any help. <p>

My G-G-Grandfather, Thomas Rooney, was born in Balentubbar (Balintober) in<br>1832. He joined the Army in 1855 and married Mary Hynes of Limerick in 1861.<br>He eventually settled in England in 1876.<p>Any relation?<br>
