Where would I look for any details that might help build my family tree. And is can somebody tell me for sure if it's possible to get an Irish citizenship if mt Grandfather was born in Ireland..

If either of your grandparents ( paternal or maternal) were born in Ireland, you are entitled to an Irish passport under the FBR regulations.<br>

Item 1: Get a good genealogy software package such as Family Treemaker by Broderbund for example or look at Ancestry.com website for more.<p>Item 2: Obtain an application for passport at the nearest Irish consulate and they will provide a list of requirements. You must document with birth/marriage certificates the fact that your grandfather was born in Ireland and your relationship to him.<p><br>
